The Cox Town Hall has received €14,748.90 in subsidies from the Alicante Provincial Council for various municipal actions.

The new provincial grants will enable the municipality of Cox to carry out several improvements. These financial contributions, totaling €14,748.90, will be allocated to tourism promotion, enhancement of municipal services, road safety, and pest control.
The most significant portion, €7,998.10, will be used to purchase solar LED luminaires. These will reinforce safety on the extension of La Rambleta road, providing a more efficient and sustainable lighting solution.
To boost tourism, €2,872.50 has been granted for the 'Cox Respira' project, linked to the 2026 International Tourism Day. This subsidy, part of the Costa Blanca tourism promotion initiative, aims to promote sustainable tourism and healthy experiences within the municipality.
An additional €2,468.40 will be allocated to disinsection treatments to control populations of culicids and simulids. This action, under the 2026 Provincial Diptera Control call, will strengthen prevention and control efforts in public spaces.
Finally, €1,409.90 has been designated for improving municipal archives. These funds will be used to acquire inventory items and metal shelving, contributing to better organization, conservation, and management of municipal documentation.
Collectively, these subsidies will allow Cox to undertake diverse actions, ranging from tourism promotion and sustainability to road safety and administrative management, thereby enhancing public services and municipal spaces.
