Alicante's TRAM transported 1.9 million users in June

The service sees a slight 2.88% decrease compared to the previous year, with June 23rd being the busiest day.

Alicante's TRAM transported 1,911,818 users during June, a 2.88% decrease compared to the same month in 2025. Tuesday, June 23rd, coinciding with the eve of San Juan and the Hogueras festivities, recorded the peak traffic with 93,507 passengers.

The Alicante TRAM network, comprising four tram lines, one train-TRAM line, and one conventional train line, served a total of 1,911,818 users in June. This figure represents a 2.88% decrease compared to the same month of the previous year. The busiest day was Tuesday, June 23rd, the day before San Juan and during the Hogueras festivities, when 93,507 passengers were recorded.
Collectively, Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana (FGV) recorded a total of 10,063,895 movements between Metrovalencia, with 8,152,077 passengers, and Alicante's TRAM, with its 1,911,818 users.
By line, Line 2, connecting Luceros with San Vicente del Raspeig, was the most in-demand with 700,563 movements. It was followed by Line 1 (Luceros-Benidorm) with 405,759 users; Line 3 (Luceros-El Campello) with 303,129; Line 4 (Luceros-Plaza La Coruña) with 236,346; Line 9 (Benidorm-Dénia) with 152,380; and Line 5 (Puerta del Mar-Plaza La Coruña) with 113,641 journeys.
Regarding station traffic, Luceros stood out as the busiest with 321,584 passengers, followed by Mercado with 257,768. Next were San Vicente del Raspeig (101,757), Marq-Castillo (101,009), and Benidorm (95,000).
The top ten busiest stations also include El Campello (56,774), Garbinet (50,000), Pintor Gastón Castelló (49,360), Bulevar del Plá (48,861), and Hospital (40,238 movements).
