The musical programming in Alicante continues throughout August with notable events at the Área 12 stage. This weekend, the city will host two live music festivals celebrating different musical eras.
On Friday, August 21st, the I Love Reggaeton festival will take place, considered Spain's largest classic reggaeton festival. The lineup includes artists such as Nacho, Juan Magán, Cali & El Dandee, and Wolfine. As a new addition, the Nostalgia Milenial stage will feature sounds from the 2000s with artists like Cascada, O-Zone, Mohombi, and Sergio Contreras.
The following day, Saturday, August 22nd, it will be the turn of Love The 90s, one of the world's largest festivals dedicated to 90s music. In its fourth consecutive edition in Alicante, the festival expands with two stages. The Escenario Repsol, hosted by Fernandisco, will feature artists like 2 Unlimited, Dr. Alban, and Tania Evans. Meanwhile, the Escenario Pop, presented by Jordi Cruz, will offer performances by groups such as Seguridad Social, Rafa Sánchez (La Unión), and Los Rebeldes.
Both events are part of national and international tours that regularly stop in Alicante. In addition to their renowned lineups, the festivals are known for their careful audiovisual and scenographic production.
