The modification allows for the creation of the Monthly Móbilis Pass and the Youth Monthly Móbilis Pass with a flat rate offering unlimited travel, replacing the Bono Móbilis Jove from January 1st. The objective is to move towards a unified system across the entire transport network of the Comunitat Valenciana, while maintaining the most competitive prices in Spain.
Free travel for children under 14 remains in place, as do the 50% discounts for under 31s and 40% for other users across the Comunitat Valenciana. The current Youth Móbilis Pass (30 journeys) will cease to be sold on December 31st, but tickets purchased before then can be used until January 31st, 2027. Between January 1st and March 31st next year, unused tickets can be exchanged for the new Youth Monthly Móbilis Pass.
The new monthly passes do not initially include these discounts, but they will if the reductions are extended. From January, the flat rate for young people will cost 15 euros once the new discount regulations are approved. This update aims to harmonize all tickets and fares in the medium term throughout the Comunitat Valenciana.
The modal scope of TAM is extended to Agost, Aigües, and Busot for Single tickets, the 10-journey Móbilis Pass, Youth Móbilis Pass (30 journeys), School Móbilis Pass (30 journeys), Violet Pass, Móbilis Temporality, and the Agreements Title. The modification also affects the fares of TRAM Alicante and the TAM zone, incorporating a 40% discount for multi-journey tickets.
The most significant increase is for the Single ticket on TRAM Alicante, which rises from 1.45 to 2 euros, aligning it with Metrovalencia. In the TAM zone, this same ticket increases from 1.45 to 1.50 euros. The 10-journey Pass increases from 4.80 to 5.40 euros (0.54 euros per journey), making it the cheapest per trip among the main metro and tram systems in Spain.
The prices for the Round Trip, 30-journey Pass, 24-hour Pass, and Collective Pass on TRAM Alicante are increasing, while the prices for Senior Monthly and Annual, and Mobility Monthly and Annual passes remain the same. In the TAM zone, the cost of the Single ticket, multi-journey Móbilis Pass, and School Móbilis Pass increases, while the prices for the Youth Móbilis Pass (which will be discontinued), 30-day Pass, and 4/30 Route Pass remain unchanged.
The new passes will be available for 35 euros for the Monthly Móbilis Pass and 29.75 euros for the Youth Monthly Móbilis Pass. However, their use will only become necessary next year when the current ones expire and new discounts reducing their price by 50% and 40% respectively are in effect.
