The Sala Sant Miquel of the Fundación Caixa Castelló offers this Saturday, July 4, the concert 'Estrats de memòria', an electroacoustic work that links sound heritage with historical memory.

The proposal, which will take place at 7:30 PM, explores the relationship between the landscape and the past through sounds captured during an archaeological excavation. Access to the venue will be free, although prior reservation is required to attend.
The project takes as a reference the work carried out during the summer of 2025 at a farmhouse located near Vilafranca, in the Els Ports region. At this site, the ArqueoAntro team carried out tasks to locate the remains of a combatant executed during the Civil War.
The sounds recorded at the site serve as the basis for the composition, which seeks to turn the territory into a living archive. Through electroacoustic processes, the work aims to combine the past and the present, focusing on the traces left by different eras in collective memory.
