The Morella Town Hall has established a special plan to accommodate the large influx of people expected for the astronomical event. Two types of observation spaces have been designated: some in the urban area and its vicinity for residents and those already staying in the town, and three areas in the municipal term with good visibility that will require prior reservation via the tourism website.
The designated points in the municipal term are Sierra del Águila, Mas de Palos, and the Torremiró Wind Farm. These areas have capacity for over 1,600 vehicles and 4,000 people. Sierra del Águila, accessible via the N-232 road, can accommodate 417 vehicles. The rural road of Mas de Palos, also accessed via the N-232, has capacity for 500 vehicles. The Torremiró Wind Farm, accessible via the same N-232, can house 750 vehicles, including motorhomes and campers.
Urban observation areas recommended for their good sunset visibility include the Alameda promenade, the Fontanella path, the cemetery path, the castle, the Santa Llúcia reservoir, the aqueduct promenade, and Jaume I promenade. The castle, with limited capacity, will open with special hours from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM for the occasion, with 300 advance tickets and 50 on the day at the box office for seven euros.
