The aid is part of a subsidy program for the improvement and equipping of municipal archives in towns with up to 100,000 inhabitants that have an archive service. The new display cases feature security systems and LED lighting, which will enhance the exhibition conditions for the Municipal Archive's documentary collections. They will also facilitate public access to Monòver's documentary heritage.
The granting of this subsidy meant that the Monòver City Council only had to contribute 12.21% of the total cost of the acquired furniture. This initiative helps improve the Municipal Archive's equipment and highlights the value of documents that form part of Monòver's historical memory and documentary heritage.
