New Civil Guard Commander in Novelda Meets with Mayor

The institutional meeting aims to strengthen citizen security collaboration between the Civil Guard, Local Police, and City Council.

The mayor of Novelda, Fran Martínez, has welcomed Karen Sarriá González, the new Civil Guard lieutenant commander, to establish the foundations for security collaboration.

The institutional meeting, held in the Mayor's office, included the participation of the Councilor for Citizen Security, Ximo Mira, the first deputy mayor, Geno Micó, and the Local Police inspector, Javier Cuenca. It served as the first official contact between the new head of the Civil Guard and the City Council, as well as for defining future lines of work.
During the reception, the importance of maintaining and enhancing the existing collaboration between the Civil Guard, the Local Police, and the Novelda City Council was highlighted. This coordination is considered fundamental for ensuring citizen security, improving response to incidents, and providing a close and effective service to all residents.
Mayor Fran Martínez welcomed Karen Sarriá González, wishing her success in her new role. He reiterated the municipality's full willingness to continue working jointly with the Civil Guard.

"Coordination between the Civil Guard, the Local Police, and the City Council is one of the keys to continuing to offer a safe municipality to our residents. We are convinced that this new phase will allow us to further strengthen a collaboration that has always yielded very good results, based on permanent communication, mutual trust, and shared commitment to public service."
