Aspe's municipal pool has closed the 2026 summer campaign with a very positive balance, registering 28,056 uses, making it the second season with the highest attendance in its historical series.

The 2026 season of the municipal summer pool in Aspe has concluded with an excellent record, accumulating 28,056 uses. This figure positions the recent campaign as the second highest in attendance in the entire historical series, surpassed only by the 2025 record (28,521 uses), although the facility opened a week earlier in June that year.
Since the start of the historical series in 2008, the pool has accumulated a total of 320,000 uses. This solidifies its role as a fundamental municipal space for sports, leisure, and family gatherings during the summer months for the citizens of Aspe.
The evolution of usage reflects significant growth since its opening. The initial 9,500 uses have multiplied to over 28,000 in recent seasons, nearly tripling utilization. Data from recent years shows a consolidation trend: 27,015 uses in 2024, 28,521 in 2025, and 28,056 in 2026.
The 2026 campaign also stood out for significant participation in activities organized by the Aspe City Council, such as Summer Schools, swimming courses for children and adults, and aquagym. Furthermore, attendance remained high thanks to free access tickets and various passes, particularly during June and July, with the latter being the busiest month.
The City Council highly values the summer campaign and thanks all users for their participation, as well as the work of the facility's staff and the various activities held there. This positive outcome reaffirms the importance of the municipal pool as a healthy meeting point and encourages continued improvement of services and activities offered to citizens during the summer period.
