The city of Elda, via the Mobility Department, is celebrating European Mobility Week (September 16-22) with a free activity focused on road safety for young people. The event will take place next Friday, September 18, in the afternoon at the Traffic Children's Park, located on Avenida Las Agualejas.
The Councillor for Mobility, Silvia Ibáñez, accompanied by Cayetano Gómez (Mobility Agent of the Local Police of Elda), Daniel Segura (teacher of the Mobility cycle at CIPFP Valle de Elda), and Daniel Benítez (Director of Feu Vert Levante Sur, a sponsor), highlighted the importance of disseminating the latest traffic regulations affecting bicycles among young people.
The activity will be divided into two parts. The first, led by students from CIPFP Valle de Elda, will teach participants how to cycle correctly using the facilities of the Traffic Children's Park. The second part, provided by Feu Vert, will focus on learning basic repairs and bicycle maintenance.
The workshop is aimed at children and young people aged between 6 and 16 years old and will be held in three sessions: at 5:30 PM, 6:30 PM, and 7:30 PM. Participants can bring their own bicycle or use one provided by the organization. To register, use the QR code available or access the link https://bit.ly/4ArcciS.
