The Plaza Mayor of Elda will host a festive Oktoberfest event on Saturday, October 3rd, organized by the Department of Commerce and Markets and the Plaza Mayor Association, with activities running from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

The Plaza Mayor of Elda will become the stage for a new commercial revitalization activity inspired by the traditional Oktoberfest next Saturday, October 3rd. The event, which will take place from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM, will offer a complete program of music, entertainment, games, and contests to encourage citizen participation and activity in this emblematic commercial and hospitality space of the city.
The initiative, driven by the Department of Commerce and Markets of the Elda City Council in collaboration with the Association of Hoteliers and Merchants of Plaza Mayor, also includes the participation of the Official School of Languages of Elda. German students from the school will contribute to the atmosphere by showcasing customs, music, and German culture related to the Oktoberfest tradition.
Through this celebration, the City Council continues its actions aimed at commercially revitalizing the Plaza Mayor and its surrounding area, highlighting its commercial, hospitality, and service offerings, and encouraging citizens to enjoy this urban space with recreational and participatory proposals.
The program will begin at 12:00 PM with the presentation and opening of the event. Subsequently, there will be a dance animation session with a DJ at 12:30 PM, followed by the Gincana Cervecelda at 1:00 PM. After a musical break between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM, the afternoon will continue with a photocall contest at 4:00 PM and a control test at 4:30 PM. Starting at 5:00 PM, musical entertainment will resume with a DJ and limbo game, and at 6:00 PM, a beerpong activity will take place. The games will conclude at 7:00 PM, and the Oktoberfest is scheduled to close at 10:00 PM.
The decoration of the Plaza Mayor, with graphic and decorative elements characteristic of Oktoberfest, will transport the public to a Central European-inspired celebration, reinforcing the festive nature of a proposal that aims to once again make the Plaza Mayor a meeting point for leisure and commercial activity in the urban center of Elda.
