The Elda City Council has decided to expand coverage of the Spain-Argentina World Cup football final by installing a second giant screen in Plaza de la Ficia to complement the one in Plaza Mayor.

Given the anticipation for the Spain-Argentina World Cup football final, the Elda City Council has increased viewing locations. In addition to the Plaza Mayor, already equipped with four screens and entertainment, a new giant screen will be installed in the Plaza de la Ficia. This measure aims to ensure all fans can enjoy the match in a festive atmosphere.
The Plaza de la Ficia will offer a program starting at 7:30 PM. It will include music by a DJ, and during halftime, a performance by ‘Baloo’s Band’ with a charanga band. A 'fan zone' will also feature face painting, an inflatable photo booth in Spain's colors, human foosball, and a creative 'pai pai' fan workshop to combat the heat.
Meanwhile, the Plaza Mayor will kick off its festivities at 6:30 PM with four large screens and music by DJ Aitor Belda, alongside family activities. The event, organized by the Plaza Mayor Merchants Association and the City Council, will also include face painting and the distribution of Spanish flags on bracelets.
The Elda City Council invites residents to wear the national colors and participate in this day of sport and community at the two designated locations.
