Through this agreement, the creation and maintenance of resources and services designed to improve the quality of life for both patients and their immediate environment will be promoted. Planned activities include specialized information, guidance, and advisory programs.
It is worth noting that Aspe is preparing to inaugurate a new center for seniors managed by the Alzheimer's Association. These new facilities, the result of a joint effort between the Valencian Government, the Provincial Council of Alicante, and the City Council, have involved an investment of two million euros.
The future center, to be located in the Los Tenores neighborhood, will occupy a 1,072 m² plot with a built area exceeding 900 m² on a single floor. It will feature spaces for early intervention, therapy, and specialized work with dependent individuals. The day center will offer 50 places, providing crucial support for families.
With this agreement, the Aspe City Council reaffirms its dedication to comprehensive care for the elderly and to building a more inclusive and supportive society, recognizing the vital role of local associations in the socio-health sector.
