The event, which is itinerant in nature, has previously taken place in various municipalities within the region, including Riba-roja de Túria, Bétera, Vilamarxant, la Pobla de Vallbona, and Marines. This year, L'Eliana takes over with the aim of continuing to foster public awareness regarding the importance of mental well-being and combating the stigma associated with mental health conditions.
The Passeig Secondo Baldin, located in Parc de la Pinada, will host a diverse program accessible to everyone throughout the morning. It will feature activities, practical workshops, information booths, and recreational proposals with a reivindicative component. This year's theme, chosen by the Spanish Mental Health Confederation, is “Haz match con tu salud mental” (Make a match with your mental health).
PRISMA is a program aimed at individuals with chronic mental health issues from the 17 municipalities that make up the Camp de Túria region. Throughout the year, the program promotes various actions focused on improving rehabilitation, social integration, and community participation for its users.
The commemoration of World Mental Health Day, officially celebrated on October 10th, represents one of PRISMA's most significant calendar events. Through this itinerant celebration, the aim is to give visibility to individuals affected by mental health problems and their families, promote a social perception free from taboos, and strengthen collective commitment to emotional well-being and inclusion.
Entities interested in participating in this initiative can formalize their registration through the form provided by the organization. For any inquiries or additional information, PRISMA can be contacted via email at s.mental@mancomunitatcampdeturia.es.
