The Mancomunitat Camp de Túria, through the Community Addiction Prevention Unit (UPCA), is dedicating its October campaign to online gambling on the occasion of the National No-Gambling Day, celebrated on October 29th.

This year, the campaign highlights online gambling, a modality that facilitates access to sports betting, poker, roulette, among others. The UPCA reminds that, despite its digital nature, the consequences of this practice are as real as those of other forms of gambling.
With the slogan 'Virtual games, real consequences', the aim is to emphasize how online gambling can depersonalize users and hinder the diagnosis of addiction problems, as it does not require travel or public exposure.
The campaign stresses that gambling addiction not only jeopardizes personal finances and basic needs but also negatively affects physical and mental health, interpersonal relationships, work concentration, and the loss of other interests.
The UPCA's '12 months, 12 slogans' initiative seeks to raise awareness about the risks of leaving important aspects of life to chance.
