With the arrival of September, Bétera's Espai Jove i d’Igualtat reactivates its activities for the 2026/2027 academic year, reinforcing the municipal commitment to youth. The facilities include a Youth Information Point, study rooms, and leisure areas with video consoles and games.
The novelty this quarter is the initiative ‘Dissabtes a l’Espai’ (Saturdays at the Space), which will start on September 12. This proposal from the Youth Department offers over 15 workshops for young people aged 13 to 30, aiming to establish the center as a meeting point.
The program includes mobile photography workshops, textile customization, tote bag design, and sticker creation. There will also be board game tournaments, escape room dynamics, and cineforum sessions with films like ‘The Addams Family’. Activities will adapt to the season, with themes for Halloween and Christmas workshops.
The Espai Jove i d’Igualtat, located on Carrer la Creu, is open Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM and from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The Youth Information Point offers guidance, training, and in-person processing of the Carnet Jove from the Institut Valencià de la Joventut (IVAJ).
The Councilor for Youth, María Salavert, highlighted that the center is a space to get information, socialize, study, or spend free time with friends. The facilities include a study room, a kitchen, and relaxation and leisure areas with board games and video consoles.
