The initiative is part of the Municipal Integral Accessibility Plan's objectives, seeking to adapt the town for all citizens while respecting its traditional typology. The works concentrate on an area urbanized in the 1980s that, after more than 40 years, requires intervention to improve sidewalk accessibility, preserving the characteristic gardening at property entrances. Additionally, all services and street asphalt will be renewed.
Meetings have been held with residents to inform them about concerns, particularly the potential reduction of parking. As a solution, the governing team has established an illuminated parking area near these streets to facilitate parking.
This project has a budget of 550,430.25 euros, funded by the Provincial Council of Valencia through the 2024/2027 Provincial Plan. The project is in the awarding phase, and works are expected to begin in the last quarter of the year.
