The Generalitat has approved the 2026 Crevillent Municipal Barraca lineup, featuring free performances by Sanguijuelas del Guadiana and Duncan Dhu, among others.

The Crevillent Municipal Barraca for the 2026 patron saint and Moors and Christians festivals will feature a notable lineup headlined by Sanguijuelas del Guadiana and Duncan Dhu. The announcement was made by the mayor, Lourdes Aznar Miralles, accompanied by the Councillor for Festivals, Antonio Candel Rives, and the Head of Leisure, Pedro García Magro.
The mayor emphasized that the program offers varied and free proposals for different audiences, aiming to generate interest and attract both Crevillent residents and visitors from nearby towns. Aznar highlighted the investment in festivals as an attraction that drives economic activity and positively impacts local businesses.
The Councillor for Festivals, Antonio Candel Rives, stressed the role of music as a complement to the Moors and Christians festivities, recognized as Festivals of International Tourist Interest. He noted that the performances provide a fitting conclusion to celebrations that draw thousands of people.
The concerts will take place on October 2nd, 3rd, and 4th in two locations: the Plaça de la Comunitat Valenciana for morning performances on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th, and Óscar Esplá street for evening performances from Friday 2nd to Sunday 4th.
On the evening of Friday, October 2nd, Sanguijuelas del Guadiana will perform, recipients of the Best New Artist award at the III Premios de la Academia de la Música de España and boasting over 400,000 monthly listeners on Spotify. Señor Aliaga, with an indie-pop selection, and Dj Jes-Set will also perform.
Saturday, October 3rd, will feature Duncan Dhu, led by Mikel Erentxun, with a long career since 1984 and over three million records sold. The night will conclude with sets by Pablo Músico and Dj Alejo.
On Sunday, October 4th, Tallarina On Tour will present a show combining commercial music, entertainment, and fun. Additionally, during the day, the Plaça de la Comunitat Valenciana will host performances by Impronta Cover Band (Saturday 3rd) and El Postre (Sunday 4th).
The municipal government has announced that the festival program will include other events, such as the Precabos party and festive afternoon sessions, to solidify Crevillent as a meeting point during the celebrations.
