The beach of Arenales del Sol, in Elche, will host the Spanish Triathlon Championships on September 12th and 13th, consolidating the city as a sports hub.

The competition, which includes the final rounds of the Liga Iberdrola and Liga Suzuki, will bring together nearly 60 clubs from the first and second divisions. Athletes will compete in categories such as the SuperSprint Club Triathlon, Mixed Relays, and SuperSprint 2x2.
The event will combine a swimming segment on the coast with an urban circuit covering San Bartolomé de Tirajana Avenue and Albacete and Bahía streets. The event aims to boost the municipality and strengthen the commitment to sports tourism.

"It is a satisfaction that Arenales del Sol is once again the venue for a top-level national competition, as it serves as an important showcase for Elche and confirms our ability to organize major sporting events."

José Antonio Román · Councilor for Sports
