The Elche City Council has renewed the Infoparticipa Seal, recognizing the quality and transparency of its web portal's public information, solidifying its position as a leading municipality in the Valencian Community.

The Elche City Council has successfully renewed the Infoparticipa Seal in its eighth edition, a distinction that certifies the quality and transparency level of public information disseminated through the municipal web portal. With this recognition, Elche positions itself as the leading large municipality in the Valencian Community for transparency and one of the best-rated city councils in the region.
In this edition, the Elche City Council has achieved a score of 96.3%, having met 52 out of 54 indicators analyzed. This mark places it among the top three largest city councils in the Valencian Community with the best transparency results.
The Infoparticipa Seal conducts an annual evaluation of the information published by public administrations on their institutional portals, based on indicators derived from the Transparency Law and principles of information quality and good governance.

The Infoparticipa project, established in 2012 as a research initiative by the Autonomous University of Barcelona, is currently developed by the research group in Sound, Strategic, and Transparency Communication (ComSET). This public transparency evaluation system in Spain has received accolades such as the Raga International Award and the Award from the College of Chartered Auditors of Catalonia.
The renewal of this recognition highlights the Elche City Council's efforts to ensure accessible, up-to-date, and quality public information through its Transparency Portal, reinforcing the municipal commitment to information access and continuous improvement of public services.
