The Miguel Hernández University (UMH) in Elche will hold a practical workshop against disinformation titled "Bulo o verdad?" (Hoax or truth?) tomorrow, Thursday, October 29, for students at the IES Mediterráneo in Torrevieja.

This initiative, supported by the Chair for Analysis and Prospecting of Audiovisual at UMH (CAPA), aims to develop key skills for critically interpreting informative and audiovisual content, identifying hoaxes and stereotypes, and recognizing factors that promote the spread of fake news.
The workshop will also address the role of artificial intelligence in accelerating this phenomenon and provide practical tools and guidelines for verifying information received through social networks and messaging services.
