The La Lonja Auditorium in Orihuela will host this Saturday, September 19th, at 7:30 PM, the concert 'The Sound of Music' by the Casanovas Orchestra, which previously achieved great success in Torrevieja.

The Casanovas Orchestra, which filled the Municipal Theater of Torrevieja last March with 650 attendees, will present this performance in Orihuela. The rendition will feature the solo voice of María Sabater and the direction of José Francisco Sánchez. Narration will be handled by José Miguel Toro, while Juan Francisco Cayuelas is responsible for the script and musical arrangements. Technical collaboration is by Aylín Aldinger, distribution by Julia Vicedo, and Miguel Guerrero will serve as stage manager.
The concert program offers a journey through the most notable themes from the film 'The Sound of Music.' In addition to the music, Austrian landscapes and iconic moments from the film will be projected. Students from the ArtkHome Academy, under the direction of Taras Khomyak, will portray the Von Trapp children and participate with María Sabater in some pieces.

Admission to the concert is free and open until full capacity.

Given the demand from members of the Francisco Casanovas Association, a bus service is being arranged to transport interested individuals from the center of Torrevieja to Orihuela and back.
