The new website, unveiled at the María Moliner Library in Orihuela, features content on gastronomy, natural and cultural heritage, hiking and cycling routes, as well as an inventory of tourist resources and information about the 'Marca Territorio' (Territory Brand). It also includes a section dedicated to talent, an events agenda, and a news section.
The platform will support Tourist Info offices in guiding visitors according to their interests. CONVEGA's vice-president, Miriam Trives, highlighted that the website is "the result of our work philosophy: a regional project that contributes to the territory's development".
The mayor of Orihuela, Pepe Vegara, emphasized the importance of these resources for showcasing "the attractions of each locality and the essence of this region as a whole," remarking that "joining forces makes us stronger as a territory".
The webpage dedicates a space to the Gastronomic Product Club, where distinctions were awarded to restaurants, shops, producers, visitable spaces, and events committed to local products. Among the recipients are restaurants like Hangry by Tario (Albatera) and El Buey y Los Infantes (Almoradí), as well as events such as the Gastronomic Days of the Breva (Albatera) and the Costra Market (Callosa de Segura).
Spaces like the Abastos Market of Callosa de Segura and businesses such as Pastelería La Roja (Almoradí) and Cervezas Segura (Orihuela) were also recognized. Miriam Trives thanked the members for their involvement, stating that "behind our gastronomy are companies and professionals who keep alive the link between who we are and what we eat".
The official image for the Gastronomic Product Club ‘Vega Baja del Segura _a la mesa’, designed by Ibán Ramón Rodríguez, was also presented. It combines the Territory Brand with gastronomic symbols. These initiatives are part of CONVEGA's Tourism Revitalization and Governance Plan, supported by the Provincial Council of Alicante.
