This new regulation represents a structural change for the sector, as the electronic road control document (DeCA) will need to be digital. The Orihuela Chamber of Commerce has organized a webinar to explain the details of this law and its implications.
The webinar will cover not only the changes introduced by the law but also how the landscape transforms for shipper and transport companies, and what it means for the electronic CMR, the Bill of Lading, and the delivery note. It will demonstrate how to create digital signature processes and attach complementary documentation, such as delivery notes, without generating friction.
The goal is to ensure traceability at all times and immediate delivery of signed documentation, thus avoiding payment delays, lost documents, and facilitating the location of required documentation in case of an audit.
The session will address the regulatory framework, the current situation, the changes introduced by the Sustainable Mobility Law, what the regulations require from October 5th onwards, and to whom they apply exactly. It will also define the roles and responsibilities of the different actors in road transport.
Furthermore, it will offer guidance on managing the digital transition without hindering daily operations (DeCA, eCMR, bill of lading, and delivery notes), as well as the requirements for an adequate technical solution, traceability, document integrity and availability, and the management of complementary documents and integration with internal systems.
