The Vinaròs City Council has initiated the tender process for the adaptation of the Fondo and Carretes roads, with a total investment of €368,000 to enhance road safety.

The works, aimed at addressing the historical lack of investment in these routes, include asphalt renewal and track repair to eliminate potholes.
The starting budget for this project is €368,000. Of this amount, €163,000 will be allocated to the Fondo road for the renewal of 1,255 meters, while the remaining €205,000 will be for the Carretes road, which will have 1,425 meters of roadway adapted.
Companies interested in carrying out the work have until September 9th to submit their offers through the Public Procurement Platform.
Once awarded, the works will have an execution period of three weeks. The deputy mayor, Juan Amat, emphasized the council's commitment to increasing resources for rural road improvements to ensure safer routes for residents.
