The Department of Festivals of Peñíscola, together with the San Pedro Fishermen's Guild, has organized a popular sardine tasting event that distributed over a thousand portions to benefit the Local Association for Cancer Fight.

The event, held at the port's fish market, saw the active participation of the Queen and the Court of Honor of the Festivals, as well as members of the Guild's ‘cabildo’ and the Municipal Corporation, who collaborated in the preparations and food distribution.
The solidarity gastronomic day successfully raised funds for an important cause, demonstrating the local community's commitment to supporting the cancer association.
Following the tasting, the port area hosted aquatic games for younger attendees, including activities like the traditional «greased pole» and a raffle for inflatables, rounding off the festive program.
