The 2025 Queen, Blanca Rovira, along with her Court of Honor, bid farewell from the balcony of the City Hall. The event was attended by the mayor, Andrés Martínez, the Councilor for Festivals, Ramón Simó, and other members of the municipal corporation, marking the beginning of a special year for the celebrations.
Following this, the parade with local giants and 'capgrossos' (big-heads), known as “Tana” and “Roc”, began. These figures led the procession to the promenade, where the Penyes Coordinator offered a tasting of the usual horchata.
The festive day concluded with aquatic children's games, bringing an end to the activities scheduled for this first day of the patron saint festivals.
