The Piles Town Hall will offer assistance from November 2nd onwards for processing urgent aid applications for those affected by the recent storm, covering both property damage and housing rental.

Individuals who have suffered damages due to the storm can apply for aid to cover repairs to property and essential household items. Support is also available for renting replacement housing if the primary residence has become uninhabitable.
Starting November 2nd, municipal staff will assist with application processing between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM at two locations: the Casa del Metge in Piles Beach and the Casa de la Cultura. Priority will be given to individuals without internet access or computers, or those facing difficulties with the procedure.
The application period runs from November 2nd, 2026, to February 1st, 2027. In addition to in-person assistance at the designated points, applications can also be submitted at the Town Hall's registry.
To streamline the process, it is recommended to prepare documentation such as DNI/NIE, a detailed description of the damages, information on other aid received, rental agreements (if applicable), insurance claim details (if any), and bank account information. In some cases, additional documents like proof of residency or property records may be required.
Financial aid can amount to up to €6,000 for primary residences and €3,000 for non-primary residences for damages to belongings. For rental assistance, aid may cover up to €800 per month, capped at 12 months, depending on the established requirements.
