The Potries Town Hall and the Parish of Sant Joan have agreed to lease the ground floor of the Abbey House. This agreement, signed by the parish priest of Potries under delegation from the Archdiocese and the mayor representing the municipality, aims to ensure the space continues to be used for socio-cultural activities, particularly those linked to local festivals and their associations.
The lease has been established for a period of 4 years. In exchange, the Town Hall will make an economic investment of €10,000, intended for the construction of a new bathroom on the ground floor of the building.
Additionally, a joint collaboration has been agreed upon for the restoration of the facade and the bell of the Hermitage. These works will be carried out during the autumn, taking advantage of the upcoming interventions planned for the restoration of the Calvary.
