The Oliva City Council has completed the improvement of the roundabout located between Loygorri Avenue and Juan Carlos I promenade, with an investment of €5,749.

The municipal Brigade of Works and Services and the gardening section have carried out the action, which mainly consisted of purchasing materials, as the labor was municipal. The intervention has allowed for the conditioning of the interior structure of the fountains to accommodate new vegetation, repair the exterior infrastructure, and plant various species, highlighting an olive tree in the round fountain on the Loygorri side.
The roundabout, dating from 2006 and with an initial budget of €442,684, was highly degraded due to structural deficiencies. An improvement project approved in 2019 for €218,007 was never executed.
Álvaro Sánchez, councilor for Works and Services and Parks and Gardens, highlighted that the objective was to improve a degraded area with a simple and quick action, pending the overall renovation planned for the promenade.
