Gandia City Trophy pits CF Gandia against UD Oliva

The Guillermo Olagüe stadium in Gandia will host this Saturday, August 29, the fortieth edition of the Gandia City Trophy, a match that will pit CF Gandia against UD Oliva.

The encounter, which will kick off at 8:30 PM, will also serve as the official presentation of the new squad for CF Gandia, recently promoted to the Liga Comunitat. Before the match, fans will have the opportunity to meet the new signings and the players continuing under the guidance of coach Alberto Gregori. The team presentation is scheduled for 7:30 PM.
This match represents one of CF Gandia's final preparation commitments before the league competition begins, scheduled for the first weekend of September. The Councilor for Sports, Jesús Naveiro, has called on citizens to support the team in this tournament with a long tradition in the municipality.

Naveiro has guaranteed the constant support of the city council for the club. The day also includes the revived offering to the Mare de Déu dels Desemparats at 6:00 PM, an initiative that the entity's vice-president, Rafa Nogueroles, has highlighted as part of the club's history and identity. The president, Sergio González, has thanked the institutional support, sponsors, and members, considering it key to the season's objectives.
Access to the stadium will be free for club members. General public can purchase tickets for five euros. The ticket offices will be open all day for renewals and new season ticket applications.
