The event, promoted by the Club de Rem CIA Gandia with the support of the Gandia City Council and the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC), aims primarily to raise funds for cancer research. Over three days, the sports club's facilities will be open to welcome the participation of families, companies, clubs, and groups of friends.
Municipal officials have highlighted the participatory nature of this event, which mobilizes citizens for a common cause. As they explained, every stroke symbolizes the spirit of overcoming challenges and the collective commitment to fighting this disease, while leveraging the health benefits of rowing.
For those unable to participate directly in the rowing tests, the organization has enabled a collaboration mode called fila zero (zero row). This option allows contributions to the cause through the purchase of solidarity t-shirts or scarves, which can be found at AECC headquarters in Gandia and various collaborating pharmacies.
