The conference will be delivered by Rocío Vidal, known on social media as La gata de Schrödinger, who uses an approachable and light-hearted style to bring science closer to the public through her YouTube channel.
Vidal addresses curiosities and questions related to the world around us, making science an engaging and fun content. She is the author of two books: ¡Qué le den a la ciencia! (2019), a tool against scientific misinformation, and ¡Eureka! 50 discoveries that have revolutionized the world (2021), a tribute to major historical discoveries.
Her career also extends to television, where she has presented science-themed programs such as Science Truck and Whaat!? Tú cómo lo ves, designed to introduce science to new audiences through dynamic formats.
Currently, Rocío Vidal continues to create and share content on YouTube and participates in various outreach projects.
The inaugural event for the 2026-2027 academic year will take place on Thursday, October 22nd, at the UPV Gandia campus.
