Following the storm of rain and tempests, Cullera, Sueca, and El Perellonet are assessing the material damage, mainly fallen trees and collapsed walls, with no serious personal injuries reported.

The episode of rain and storms that hit the Valencian Community this Thursday has left a visible mark on the Ribera Baixa region, primarily in the form of material damage. Cleaning crews are working intensely to clear the consequences of the storm.
In Sueca and El Perellonet, trees and branches have been scattered across the urban furniture. A resident of El Perellonet, Marta Roig, explains that "the palm tree fell on the car, and the vehicle ended up a total loss." The strong gusts of wind also caused walls to collapse, as well as doors and balconies to be ripped off.
Another resident of El Perellonet, Carles Cervera, witnessed how the wind affected his house: "I went outside and saw everything fall down, the wall, the fence, everything." In Cullera, incidents multiplied in both private developments and on the beach. Deputy Mayor Sílvia Roca noted that "awnings and umbrellas were flying, and terraces were dismantled and fell into the void."
Damage was also recorded at the Medusa festival site. Fortunately, unlike in 2022, the site was empty at the time of the storm.
