The deployment, which has operated progressively due to coastal regeneration works carried out by the Ministry, has had all planned human and material resources available since July 1st. The service includes 27 lifeguards, 11 adapted bathing professionals, 3 boat skippers, 2 coordinators, and 2 emergency medical technicians.
In addition to the staff, the device includes 10 surveillance towers, an ambulance, and a jet ski to respond quickly to any incident. In parallel, the council has reinforced maintenance tasks by hiring eight laborers to handle the conditioning of bathing areas, complementing the cleaning service provided by the contractor.
Regarding accessibility, the municipality maintains four adapted bathing points in operation located in La Lastra, Les Palmeres, Bega de Mar, and Mareny Blau. These points offer daily service from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM to facilitate the use of the facilities for all beachgoers.
