The Department of Education of the Sueca City Council will once again offer the Municipal Play Center service starting in September. This service will be available for all children who will be attending 2nd Cycle of Early Childhood Education and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Grade of Primary School, aged between 3 and 9 years old.
The main objective is to facilitate family and work conciliation during afternoon hours, while also offering children an education in values. The play center provides a safe, educational, inclusive, and community-oriented space where children can engage in recreational, cultural, and socio-educational activities during their free time, under the care of qualified professionals, as explained by the Councilor for Education, Xavi Fos.
Applications to obtain a place can be submitted electronically through the electronic headquarters, or in person at the General Entry Registry, from today, August 26, until August 31. Place allocation will prioritize applications from minors whose parents are both working or from single-parent families. Situations of vulnerability or special need will also be considered. All applications must be accompanied by documentation proving the alleged circumstances.
The Municipal Play Center service will be offered from September 2026 to June 2027, from Monday to Friday, between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM. Two modalities will be established: two or three days a week, and all days of the week. Each session will have 45 places. For more information, please consult the website www.sueca.es.
