According to a court order from the High Court of Justice of the Valencian Community, the magistrate made this decision after analyzing Emergency call logs and hearing testimony from Alzira forest firefighters.
The court has requested from the General Sub-directorate for Emergencies a detailed list of phone communications made from the Emergency Coordination Center to local authorities in affected areas, including the Magro river basin and the Torrent ravine.
The requested information must specify the time, duration of the calls, and whether there was any response from local authorities between the afternoon of October 29, 2024, and the early hours of the following day.
Furthermore, the judge has rejected the summons for the head of an Alzheimer's care center in Algemesí, considering that the events at those facilities are not directly relevant to clarifying the criminal responsibilities under investigation.
