Castellón Hotels Close Semester with Record Figures

The province of Castellón has recorded a record-breaking first half of 2026 in the hotel sector, surpassing 594,000 travelers and 1.6 million overnight stays.

Hotels in the province of Castellón have closed the first half of 2026 with unprecedented activity figures. 594,385 travelers and 1,696,369 overnight stays have been registered, representing an increase of 6% and 7%, respectively, compared to the same period last year.
This positive trend has also extended to the job market, with a total of 1,792 workers in the hotel sector, an increase of 2.5%.
This assessment was compiled by the hotel employers' association Hosbec, based on its data monitor, and aligns with the data from the National Statistics Institute's (INE) Hotel Occupancy Survey.
