The waste plant in Guadassuar has established itself as a benchmark in waste management in Spain with the construction of the country's largest bulky waste treatment center. This infrastructure will not only drastically improve the recovery of these materials, increasing it from 10% to 90%, but also facilitate the reuse of furniture and other items.
The third vice-president and Minister of Environment, Vicente Martínez Mus, highlighted the importance of this advancement during a visit to the plant. According to his statements, "This center places the Valencian Community at the forefront of the circular economy and material recovery," emphasizing the region's pioneering role in sustainable management.
The investment made in this plant will transform how bulky waste is managed, giving it a second life and significantly reducing environmental impact. The goal is to maximize material recovery and promote a more efficient circular economy model.
