Alzira City Council and the Business Association have formalised a pact to reactivate the urban development of the Industrial Distribution Area 93, located on the Albalat road.

The project, which had been stalled for 25 years, will be carried out in stages over five years. The main objective is to make infrastructure improvements compatible with the daily operations of the companies installed in this industrial estate, which brings together nearly 180 owners and more than 3,500 workers.
The council has committed to covering the full cost of sanitation works on the CV-505, an operation valued at more than 1.25 million euros. In addition, guarantees have been established to ensure that companies maintain vehicle access and exit during the construction period, avoiding the revocation of licenses due to the loss of parking spaces.
The deadline for owners to join the new programme will begin on September 1st. The plan also provides for the return of guarantees deposited in previous actions for those who join this new stage, which seeks to turn the area into a Management and Modernisation Entity.
