The award, organized by the Polièdriques Collective and the Alzira Illustration Workshops (JIA) in collaboration with the Alzira City Council, attracted 28 creative submissions. The jury admitted 25 works for evaluation, discarding three for not adhering to the established theme.
The winning entries, focused on interpreting the Escoles Pies street in Alzira, were judged anonymously. Xelon secured first place, followed by Giuditta Bussetti in second and Elisa Talens in third. The jury highlighted the artistic and technical quality, as well as the originality and unpublished nature of the submissions.
The jury, comprising Lambert Penalba, Lídia Boix, MacDiego, Álvaro Pons, and Dídac Ballester, with Empar Piera and Mai Hidalgo as secretaries, emphasized compliance with the rules, which prohibited the use of generative artificial intelligence.
The selected works will be part of an exhibition that can be visited during the Alzira Illustration Workshops in 2026.
