The mayor of Utiel, Ricardo Gabaldón, participated yesterday in the Valencian municipalism meeting organized by Levante-EMV, an event that brought together representatives from various municipalities in the province. The event was held at the Club Diario Levante and offered a space for institutional dialogue and the exchange of impressions.
The opening ceremony was led by the newspaper's director, Joan-Carles Martí, who highlighted the role of proximity journalism. Subsequently, the mayor of València, María José Catalá, reflected on the need to promote a citizen "culture of emergency," especially after the DANA.
For his part, the president of the Provincial Council of Valencia, Vicent Mompó, advocated for the provincial institution as a useful entity close to town councils and residents, "beyond the noise."
The meeting concluded with a toast, allowing municipal leaders to strengthen ties, share concerns, and discuss the future challenges of their respective municipalities.
