The Camporrobles City Council has initiated a public consultation for the development of a new ordinance that will regulate hospitality establishments' terraces on public streets, as well as update the corresponding fiscal tax.

The new regulation aims to establish common criteria for the installation of tables, chairs, umbrellas, and other hospitality elements in public spaces. Until now, there was no specific regulation defining where and how these installations could be placed, their operating hours, or the obligations of the license holders.
The objective is for the regulation to be compatible with pedestrian access, universal accessibility, public safety, and the rest of the neighbors, while continuing to support the local hospitality sector.
Before the final drafting of the ordinances, the City Council seeks citizen input, particularly from owners of bars, cafes, restaurants, and pubs, as well as local residents. The aim is to identify problems to be solved, assess the necessity of the regulation, define its objectives, and explore potential alternatives.
The deadline for submitting opinions runs from October 15, 2026, to Thursday, November 4, inclusive, totaling 15 business days. Contributions can be made in person at the Registry of Entries of the Camporrobles City Council (C/ Hernández Zazo, 2) or through the municipal electronic headquarters.
The full announcement and further information are available on the notice board and the transparency portal of the electronic headquarters. The City Council especially invites the participation of all stakeholders, emphasizing that "your opinion counts!".
