The UNED Vila-real has organized a welcome event for recently enrolled students. The session will take place on October 1st, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM in the Center's Auditorium. The primary goal is to guide new students through their initial steps at the university and clarify common questions at the start of the academic year.
During the event, effective study methods for distance learning will be detailed. The functioning of tutoring sessions, both in-person and online, will also be explained, with an emphasis on using virtual courses as a key tool for academic progress.
Furthermore, the UNED's evaluation system will be presented, including the procedures for exams and continuous assessment tests (PEC). The university's main digital platforms and tools will also be introduced, along with available resources and services to enhance organization, subject tracking, and independent study.
The session will feature participation from key center personnel: Inma Cabedo Andreu, academic secretary; Alejandro Ribes Ferrer, Center director; Paula Gaya Llopis, COIE coordinator; and Raúl Ferrando Aznar, technology manager.
The activity, which is free of charge, can be attended in person at the Vila-real center or online. For those unable to attend physically, there will be an option to join live or watch a recording later via Zoom.
