The natural park of El Termet and the surroundings of the chapel of Mare de Déu de Gràcia in Vila-real are about to conclude their summer program 'Viu l’estiu al Termet', which has turned the area into the city's main cultural stage during July and August. The initiative, officially ending on August 31st, looks ahead to the upcoming patron saint festivities, scheduled from September 4th to 13th.
Until Saturday, August 29th, a dozen events have been scheduled, encompassing theatre and street arts, music, dance, gastronomy, and heritage, as well as family activities. This past weekend, the Ethnological Museum hosted the last guided tour by Arqueocas, focusing on archaeological and ceramic pieces from the Roman legacy of Vila Filomena. In parallel, the Pastoret square was the venue for 'Tast: entre pins i sabors', a gastronomic and musical initiative featuring guitarist Héctor Delgado.
Music continues this Sunday with a harmonium and voice concert at the chapel of Mare de Déu de Gràcia, performed by musicians Augusto Belau and José Antonio Navarro. Next week, on Tuesday, August 25th, the Pinar del Termet will host an open masterclass in theatrical interpretation led by Fanfi García, an improvisational actor and theatre professor.
On Wednesday, August 26th, the Pastoret square will feature the show 'Mai plou a gust de tots...' by Xarop Teatre, a performance combining singing, theatre, dance, and puppets for all audiences aged two and up, conveying a message about caring for the planet. On Thursday, August 27th, there will be two activities: 'Natura', a sensory theatre experience for babies aged six months to three years by the company Paraules d’aire, to be held at El Convent, and a dance performance at the chapel.
The program also includes 'Històries i llegendes del Termet' on Friday, August 28th, a free nocturnal guided tour departing from the Termet car park to discover traditions and legends linked to the area. Finally, on Saturday, August 29th, the Pastoret square will host the last session of 'Tast: entre pins i sabors', thus concluding the cultural activities announced for the final days of the summer program.
