This new initiative will allow professionals from any municipality in the Valencian Community to access practical and updated content, regardless of where they work. The training will be conducted entirely online, thus facilitating access for professionals from all localities.
The course coordinator, Joseba Corral, highlighted the importance of this collaboration in bringing specialized training to all officers. He emphasizes that the joint support from the UNED and Ivaspe provides guarantees and ensures a truly autonomous scope for the initiative.
For his part, the director of the UNED of Castellón, Alejandro Ribes, emphasized how this collaboration connects the university with the real needs of public safety professionals. He believes that the ability for a police officer or firefighter from anywhere in the Community to access this online training represents a significant advancement.
The initial program offers four courses: 'Practical Aspects and Police Operations in Public Establishments', 'Police Mediation within Public Safety', 'Minors Online and AI: Criminal Opportunities and Risks', and 'Local Police Facing Civil and Criminal Proceedings'. The goal is to promote continuous, specialized, and accessible training, adapted to new safety challenges.
