The emergency response team has decided to reinforce ground intervention in the most affected areas. According to the Advanced Command Post, wind in the Tales and Alcudia de Veo area currently prevents the 34 available aerial assets from operating safely.
Overnight, drones from the forest firefighters and the Military Emergency Unit flew over the fire perimeter to update mapping and improve work planning. The main goal remains to stop the flames from advancing toward the Sierra de Espadán Natural Park, an ecologically valuable area in the province of Castellón.
Weather conditions complicated work overnight, as humidity levels did not rise as expected and temperatures remained high. However, the lockdown in affected neighborhoods of La Vall d'Uixó has been lifted, allowing residents to return under the coordination of the Civil Guard, local police, Red Cross, and the Valencian Regional Police.
