The 'groguet' club has purchased a new plot of 10,000 m² that will allow for the expansion of the Ciudad Deportiva José Manuel Llaneza. This acquisition is part of a phased expansion and renovation plan aimed at modernizing and revitalizing the facilities, benefiting both the first team and the club's extensive youth academy.
The first phase of this project includes the imminent construction of a new 11-a-side football pitch. This space will have the flexibility to be divided into two 8-a-side pitches, adapting to various training and competition needs.
Additionally, three 5-a-side football pitches will be installed specifically for young children in the Psychomotricity program (ages 3 to 5), with surfaces and dimensions adjusted to their development and level. In parallel, a modern grandstand is being erected with direct visibility towards the new fields, enhancing comfort and safety for families and fans attending matches and training sessions.
With this expansion, the Miralcamp sports city will reach a total of 130,000 m², providing more space to better organize facilities and accommodate the growth of the youth teams.
The second phase of works at the sports city involves redistributing spaces and constructing new internal areas to consolidate high-performance services and optimize daily operations. Meanwhile, the club is proceeding with the renovation of the Estadio de la Cerámica, focusing on improving access, internal circulation, and fan safety, including new vomitories and an annex building at the North Stand with new parking areas and services for supporters.
