The province of Castellón has expanded its security force with the incorporation of 32 trainee officers from the National Police. Of these, 24 will serve at the Provincial Police Station in Castellón and eight at the Local Police Station in Vila-real, starting July 14th.
The reception ceremony, presided over by the Government's Sub-delegate in Castellón, Antonia García Valls, and the Principal Commissioner, Emilio Romero, highlighted the expectations of Castellón society in the future officers. They were reminded of the importance of applying the knowledge acquired at the National Police School in Ávila, demonstrating capacity, skill, exemplary behavior, and a deep commitment to serving citizens.
Notably, the majority of the trainee officers, 10 out of 32, are from the province of Castellón. Furthermore, a significant percentage, 31%, are women. This contingent will reinforce prevention and Citizen Security services in the Castellón and Vila-real police stations over the coming months.
