The request, initially sent last July, has gone unanswered, prompting the council of the Plana Baixa region to insist on a meeting to unblock pending actions that have been in the pipeline for years without significant progress.
Among the priorities the governing team is conveying to the state department is the execution of a 200-meter breakwater in front of the wastewater treatment plant. This project, aimed at creating a beach in the southern sector of the municipality and protecting the coast, has been in the works for over fifteen years and currently lacks funding, despite having a favorable environmental impact assessment.
Furthermore, the municipal executive is demanding a clear response regarding the coastal planning of Sant Gregori.
